NYC Area Leaps into Action with 3100 Boxes of Mac & Cheese
When the call came out from Christopher Lee, KM that a donor had an additional 3100 boxes of Mac & Cheese available, the Knights in NYC jumped into action!
Pete Clemente, KM picked up the Order of Malta Mobile Ministries Van within one hour of the call and was joined by Christopher and Cathedral Staff at St. Patrick’s to load the van full of another truckload of Mac & Cheese directly on 5th Avenue.
The following morning the team delivered it to St. Johns Bread & Life in Brooklyn, bringing the total donation to over 6000 boxes to be given out at the food pantry. Thanks to all who made this incredible, last minute effort a reality. When we work alone we can do much good, but when we work as an Order we can move mountains!
