Food Forward Fights Hunger

Food Forward fights hunger and prevents food waste by rescuing fresh surplus produce, connecting this abundance with people experiencing food insecurity, and inspiring others to do the same. Order of Malta Mobile Ministries partners with Food Forward to supply fresh produce to our LA-based partner charities, including the family food pantry run by St. Peter’s Italian Church. Members and volunteers with the LA Location recently delivered over 3,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to St. Peter’s and helped distribute the produce to needy families in downtown LA.
