Serving Breakfast to Homeless in Venice

Order of Malta Mobile Ministries (https://maltamobileministries.org/) delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to LA Region’s neediest communities, and also delivers hygiene kits for the homeless assembled by LA Region volunteers. The weekend before Christmas, Mobile Ministries delivered hundreds of hygiene kits for the homeless to St. Robert’s Center in Venice (https://sp-apostle.org/st-roberts-center/). LA Region members and volunteers made sandwiches for homeless guests at St. Robert’s, and assisted in serving guests at the Saturday-morning St. Robert’s brunch program. Guests also enjoyed special services during brunch, including free haircuts, showers, clothing, local agency resources fair, and live acoustic music.
