Working with the Pasadena Senior Center

The Pasadena Center is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults through caring service with opportunities for social interaction, recreation, basic support and needs services, education, and community service. The Senior Center operates a monthly food pantry program for low income seniors featuring fresh produce supplied by the Order of Malta and local nonprofit Food Forward. The Order’s Mobile Ministries delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to the Senior Center, and members and volunteers with Order of Malta LA Location work side-by-side with volunteers from other organizations to distribute the produce. “The Order is grateful to partner with the Senior Center to serve the poor and needy in our community,” said Alan Barasorda, AUX.
