WELLNESS KITs!

Over 100 Knights, Dames, Provisional, Auxiliary, Volunteers, Friends and Family built some 3,000 SMOM Wellness Kits & Community!
pizza Pizza PIZZA was served and the SnackBar was open all day! It was full and lively turnout of auxiliary members along with KMs and DMs with their families, very intergenerational with young kids, teenagers, middle aged adults, and the “vets”  Hands and lines moving steadily, voices low with moments of jubilant announcements from Lacey when we hit milestones of 1K bags, then 2K bags, then finally almost 3K bags The energy in the room was engaged presence: people leaned in, a sense of instruction + mission, a fellowship with purpose, the volunteers didn’t rush through each station and grab items randomly, people moved around each other, gave space, there was a reverent rhythm to the flow. Provisional Candidate 2027, Christine Minch shared some reflections: “Even though it was my first time serving at this bi-annual event, I naturally felt part of the shared tradition and there was a beautiful sense of communal continuity, and the entire event from beginning to end felt almost seamless—felt like a part of the Order’s collective rhythm!”
